Tyler Busick
Tyler Busick teaches middle and high school choir with the Trenton R-IX School District. Mr. Busick graduated from Newtown-Harris High School in Newtown, MO and received his Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg. He is currently pursuing his Masters in Music Education from Missouri State University in Springfield.
In Mr. Busick's six years at Trenton, the choirs have achieved consistent "Exemplary" ratings at the MSHSAA Large Group Contest, and for the last three years, all THS choirs have received a '1' overall rating including an "Exemplary" rating in sight-reading.
Mr. Busick is an active member of the Missouri Choral Directors Association and the Missouri Music Educators Association. In addition to his work at Trenton R-IX, he lends his passion throughout the community. He leads worship at the First Christian Church and manages the Trenton community garden with his wife, Ashlen, and their two children, Liam and Alivia.
Linda Arnold
Linda Arnold has been a musician since elementary school when she began playing clarinet. She participated in band and choir throuoghout her school years. She was a charter member of a local Christian vocal group, the Christianaires, in 1971 as a senior, and became its director from 1975-1995. She then began serving as music director at Gallatin First Baptist Church and continues to do so.
After attending a Grand River Valley Choir and Orchestra concert in 2018, Ms. Arnold desired to participate and so joined the choir for the 2019 Summer Concert. She was delighted to be asked to direct the choir for the 2019 Winter Concert.
Linda Arnold has acted as her husband's law office manager/secretary since 1991. She and husband, Mike, have two sons: Jonathan, 30, and Phillip, 28.
Linda's pastimes include serving in our church, spending time with our sons, reading, watching Royals baseball, and getting myself in good physical shape.
